After two and a half years of work of a European consortium of seven partners the FP7 Project ELVA has come to an end.

The objective of the project was to develop new and innovative electric vehicle architectures using the design freedom that electric powertrains give. All the work resulted in three EV concepts and a very valuable compilation of recommendations and best practices in EV Design.

One of the most important results was the ELVA Design Support Tool, which is publicly available at the project’s webpage (www.elva-project.eu) or following this link: http://www.elva-project.eu/tool/Tool_Advance.php
