Carles Grasas appointed Vice President – Europe in FISITA

    Carles Grasas has been elected Vice President for Europe of FISITA (International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies) on the proposal of the president of the federation and its International Council.

    Dr.-Ing Carles Grasas has been elected Vice President for Europe of FISITA (International Federation of Automotive Engineering Societies) on the proposal of the president of the federation and its International Council.
     
    The involvement in FISITA's executive committee will be strategic in strengthening relations between the societies and creating new connections in the industrial and academic spheres. Mr. Grasas will carry out his mandate by providing his vision on the state, opportunities and future trends of the automotive sector, particularly in Europe.
    FISITA aims to share knowledge in automotive engineering worldwide and contribute to the development of new technologies. The organization is made up of the main automotive engineering societies in 37 countries, including the STA (Spanish Society of Automotive Engineers). The federation has more than 210,000 members, who participate in various forums for dialogue between professionals, industry, governments, universities and environmental and standardization organizations.
    Founded in Paris in 1948 by the STA and SIA, FISITA is a non-profit organization that acts as the global voice of the automotive industry.
