Applus IDIADA is pleased to announce that it has been selected by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to conduct New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) dynamic rollover testing activities.
As part of the active safety tests protocols, the dynamic rollover test evaluates the vehicles’ rollover propensity by performing handling maneuvers following a fishhook-like trajectory.
Carlos García, Director of Applus IDIADA USA stated that “this award further enhances our contribution to the NHTSA NCAP testing program and represents a very relevant milestone for the expansion of our active safety services in the US”.
Applus IDIADA has been providing safety testing services under contract to NHTSA since 1996.
