IDIADA's Regulatory Information System (IRIS) closes 2022 with more than 40 customers

02/03/2023

IRIS, IDIADA's Regulatory Information System, ended 2022 with more than 40 clients subscribed to its services and, currently, more than 400 users are already familiar with its database, which now has more than 2,400 regulations.

IRIS is a regulatory know-how solution developed by IDIADA's Homologation Department, which allows you to keep up to date with the latest regulatory developments in vehicle homologation worldwide. The services offered include the regulatory knowledge base, the regulatory monitoring reporting service, the technical market research service or specific topics, such as the regulatory support service.

During 2022, IRIS substantially improved the user experience by developing solutions in its tool, such as new customized forms of subscription to its knowledge base like the subscription for L-category vehicles or the multi-user option. In addition, in the previous year, it incorporated UK regulations into its database and initiated new development projects such as Smart IRIS which, among other features, will incorporate artificial intelligence into its system. In addition, it also actively participated in IDIADA's new Digital Solutions e-commerce platform, featuring as one of its homologation products.

What's new for IRIS in 2023?

Recently, IRIS has incorporated a new on-demand subscription option at a reduced price and adapted to specific regulations. This option includes 2 days of access to the platform and 3 consolidated regulations on demand.

In addition, this year will also see the launch of two new initiatives that will help expand IDIADA's know-how. On the one hand, the launch of regulatory knowledge pills and, on the other hand, the implementation of technical webinars to exchange regulatory knowledge among in-house experts.
