Basic research and technological development of an electric minibus vehicle with high load performance and energy efficiency.
Practically, all of the European cities operate with electric minibuses in urban areas to make it possible to transport people, facilitate mobility and bring the service in the right place. In the most central areas and old districts, the streets are narrower and the vehicles share the street with pedestrians. In these areas, emissions and noise are particularly sensitive.
Currently there are no electric vehicles capable of providing the necessary autonomy to circulate all day and that is why operators give up on the use of this type of vehicle in the center of the cities.
The objective of this project is to define, develop, design and manufacture an electric minibus that allows making a vehicle according to the needs of the customer, being able to satisfy the most basic needs of low autonomy and low cost vehicles, as we can configure the vehicle and its battery pack and charging system that allows it to operate uninterruptedly.
The result will be a completely commercial product. The potential market at European level of this type of vehicle is 150 units per year
